Iron Girders Gym is a one of a kind training facility dedicated to the Scottish professional wrestling scene. We offer in ring coaching for everyone from beginners to professionals. All aspects of wrestling are covered during our personal coaching sessions and small group training classes. You’ll work on the fundamental movements required for pro wrestling including bodyweight exercises, basic movements, rolls, spacial awareness, running the ropes and much more.

We coach in ring wrestling, conditioning, microphone work, character development as well as advice on navigating your way towards your pro wrestling aspersions. Our current clients feature regularly on events around the UK & Europe, and are continually making appearances on top European independent promotion Insane Championship Wrestling, as well as being featured on the WWE Network.

Small groups recommended


“WRESTLE FIT” is our answer to boxing fitness classes. You’ll get to step into the ring and work on some basic fitness drills used by pro wrestlers, without any of the risk of being slammed or suplexed. Like no fitness clsss you’ve ever tried before and the most uniquely fun way to work on personal conditioning. Everyone welcome and small groups recommended (2-4 people).

Beginners are welcome, training is available 6 days a week and is tailored to your skill level.

Bring clothes to train in (shorts, t-shirt, leggings, gym wear) a change for afterwards, a water bottle and a towel. Wrestling boots for the ring if you have them, a flat/smooth sole if not. Footwear worn outside won’t be permitted on the ring canvas.

We charge £35 for one 90 minute session or two for £60

Everyone over 16 is welcome.

Please arrive at IronGirdersGym no more than 10 minutes before your session is due to begin. You’ll also have a medical declaration and waiver to sign before getting in the ring.

Wear a mask and sanitise your hands upon arrival. We’ll measure your temperature and ask that you fill in a small questionnaire to help tackle covid transmission.
